The band aims to bring together the Tulum which is unique instrument for Laz people, with completely different forms, takes the strong wind of Colchis and goodness behind. Gormot will release three following and related projects to reach that goal. Those project consists of albums named “The Birth”, “The Life” and “The Eternity”The first album of the series will be “The Birth”. The band released the first song of this album, Hicazuri, on June 11, 2021. ''Gormot is the combination of Aycan Yeter's groundbreaking tulum performance and the skillful touches of master musicians such as Ugur Gulbaharlı, Poyraz Kılıc and Cagatay Kadı. Audience will often hear Gormot's name and his music in the near future. Because the band is really good and the good always wins.''The ancient kingdom of Colchis, which has a history of about 3000 years and founded on the eastern shores of the Black Sea, is a large kingdom that extends to Kaf Mountain and where Laz tribes live. According to Colchis mythology, it is thought that Gormot, god of goodness, also lived in this kingdom. Today it is still referred to as the Creative "gormoti" in Laz. The Gormot, founded in 2019 by of Aycan Yeter, takes its name from this story. Gormot's songwiter Aycan Yeter describes the project as follows: “Each song that will take place in these projects is a collection of stories in my life. The emotions I have accumulated in the city I live in, in Lazona and in America are completely within the music we will make.
